At Tavra, we take immense pride in the architectural design, heavy structural integrity, and premium woodworking craftsmanship of our furniture. Each piece is meticulously built to withstand generations. However, we understand that sometimes a piece may not perfectly fit your intended interior vision. We have designed our returns process to be as straightforward and transparent as our design philosophy.

1. 14-Day Right to Return

You have the right to return your Tavra furniture within 14 calendar days from the date of delivery. To be eligible for a full refund, please ensure that the following conditions are met:

  • Pristine Condition: The furniture must be completely unused, unassembled, and in its original, perfect condition.

  • Original Packaging: It must be returned in its original protective packaging. Our custom-engineered boxes are vital to ensuring heavy solid wood pieces travel safely without sustaining structural or surface damage.

  • Exclusions: Customized items or bespoke furniture orders created specifically to your custom dimensions or unique wood specifications cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded.

2. How to Initiate a Return

To ensure a seamless experience, please follow these steps to organize your return transport:

  1. Submit a Request: Contact our dedicated Customer Support team via email at [email protected] within the 14-day window. Please include your Order Number, invoice, and a brief statement regarding the reason for your return.

  2. Condition Verification: Our team will ask for a few high-resolution photographs of the item inside its original packaging to confirm its secure condition before transport is approved.

  3. Schedule Pick-up: Because of the substantial weight and grand proportions of our solid wood collections, returns must be handled by our specialized white-glove logistics partners. We will coordinate a convenient date and time window for the courier to collect the item directly from your home.

Return Shipping Fees: Please note that unless an item arrived damaged or defective, the customer is responsible for the direct costs of returning the furniture. Due to the specialized freight required for oversized and heavy items, return shipping fees typically range from €50 to €150 depending on your location and the volume of the piece. This fee will be deducted directly from your final refund.

3. Inspection & Refunds

Once your returned item arrives at our manufacturing warehouse, it will undergo a thorough quality control evaluation by our master carpenters to verify its original condition.

  • Approval: If the inspection is successful, your refund will be authorized immediately.

  • Timeline: The funds will be credited back to your original payment method (Credit Card, PayPal, or Bank Transfer) within 10 to 14 business days, depending on your financial institution's processing times.

  • Partial Refunds: If an item is returned damaged, altered, assembled, or without its original protective packaging, Tavra reserves the right to issue a partial refund or deny the return entirely.

4. Damaged or Defective Items

We apply rigid quality checking standards before any piece of furniture leaves our facility. In the highly unlikely event that your furniture arrives damaged during transit or exhibits a manufacturing flaw, we will remedy the situation immediately at zero additional cost to you.

Important Action Required: Please inspect your furniture thoroughly upon delivery. If you notice any outward damage to the packaging, make sure to write a note on the courier's delivery receipt. Take immediate, clear photographs of the damage and contact us at [email protected] within 48 hours. We will promptly arrange for a premium repair, part replacement, or a complete exchange.
